Fall is here, and with it comes a new batch of theatrical offerings. While the month is generally reserved for horror, October marks an impressive mix of action, comedy, drama, and family films, in addition to titles that will get you squirming in your seats. It’s hard to pick a single highlight, with the horror sequel The Black Phone 2 arriving mid-month, the dark comedy Roofman opening at the start, and even 1995’s Casper, starring Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci, returning to theaters.

Below, you will find information on every movie coming to theaters in October 2025, along with a complete list covering both wide and limited releases.
