The Grabber has nabbed some early reviews ahead of his big screen return in Black Phone 2. The Blumhouse horror sequel has landed a killer Rotten Tomatoes debut, indicating that the highly anticipated follow-up from director Scott Derrickson has dialed up the scares once more, with a feature that appears to live up to its predecessor’s legacy. The original, the aptly titled The Black Phone, adapted Joe Hill’s 2004 short story of the same name, while the second film serves as an extension of the terrorizing tale, picking up four years later, with siblings Finney and Gwen trying to find a way to move forward while still being haunted by their past.
