A Christmas Carol has been adapted for the screen countless times, but Ti West’s fresh take on the beloved Charles Dickens story promises to set itself apart from its predecessors by putting a new spin on the literary classic with a star-studded ensemble led by Johnny Depp as Ebenezer Scrooge. The mean-spirited misanthrope might be more adept at counting his coins than counting his friends, but the cast of the latest film adaptation, titled Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol, continues to grow nonetheless. Mission: Impossible star Tramell Tillman and X-Men alum Ian McKellen are the latest high-profile actors to sign on for the project.
