After a month of horror binges and before the holiday rush, November often feels lost in the shuffle. Still, the month is ideal for recharging by spending an evening catching a new movie or TV show, or binging a favorite classic. HBO Max offers just that, with its November lineup featuring exciting new additions, including two original TV series, the latest movies from A24, and 80 other new-to-platform titles.
We have highlighted the most anticipated movies and TV shows coming to HBO Max in November 2025. Below that, you will find a complete list of all new titles coming to the streaming platform, and when they will be available.
‘I Love LA’ (Season 1)
Available November 2
I Love LA explores the lives of a tight-knit group of late-20s friends who reunite in LA and try to grapple with the lifestyle and ambitions that come with the entertainment-obsessed culture. Notably, when Maia (Rachel Sennott) attempts to break into social media, her career is upended when a former friend, Tallulah (Odessa A’zion), enters the same space and starts shaking up her professional and personal life.
Created, written, and starring Rachel Sennott, I Love LA aims to bring a fresh, exciting new voice to TV, backed by the prestige of an HBO production. At the same time, the series immerses itself in the salacious world of LA influencer culture and offers a new, clever comedic perspective on the competitive, often toxic landscape. I Love LA debuts on November 2 on HBO Max with new episodes rolling out weekly.

‘Materialists’ (2025)
Available on November 7
Written and directed by Celine Song (Past Lives), Materialists follows Lucy Mason (Dakota Johnson), a successful New York matchmaker who struggles in her own personal relationships. Lucy finally finds what she believes to be the perfect match in the charismatic and affluent Harry (Pedro Pascal). However, this connection is soon interrupted when an ex, John (Chris Evans), becomes entangled with one of her clients, prompting her to revisit her past relationship with him.
Materialists thrives under its cast, with Will Sayre praising the performances in his review for MovieWeb, “The dynamic Lucy might be Johnson’s finest role to date, and Evans’ turn as an NYC wiseguy with a lovable soul is his best since Knives Out. Pascal’s Harry initially appears to be a layup for a fan-favorite performer, but as Lucy learns more about Harry, SAG Award-winner Pascal is pitch-perfect in the unpredictable part.” A clever rom-com for those looking for a bit more depth from the genre, Materialists may be just what viewers need during a night in with their partner. Materialists is available to stream on HBO Max on November 7.

‘The Seduction’ (Season 1)
Available on November 14
Leading with the official logline “To be the hero of your own story, you sometimes have to be the villain in others,” The Seduction promises a salacious exploration of courtesan life in 18th-century Paris. Here, Isabelle de Merteuil (Anamaria Vartolomei) finds herself on an unprecedented and calculated ascent to power after being slighted by the Vicomte de Valmont (Vincent Lacoste).
Based on the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, The Seduction offers a new take on a classic. The period drama seeks to explore the era’s sex, politics, and decadence through the perspective of a feminist figure challenging the system. Those craving international period dramas will find the series’ decadent vision of France and its power struggles among the bourgeoisie to be the kind of delicious, bingeable TV they crave. An HBO Max original series, all episodes of The Seduction will be available on the streaming platform on November 14.
‘Eddington’ (2025)
Available to Stream November 14
Capturing pandemic paranoia and escalating political division, Ari Aster’s Eddington made a small New Mexico town the central point of a war between two individuals. Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) would find himself at odds with Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal) over the push for town publicity through strict pandemic measures to attract big tech businesses.
Eddington struggled at the box office, and its inconsistent tone earned it mixed reviews from critics, including MovieWeb‘s Julian Roman, who stated in his review, “Aster’s tendency for wild third-act theatrics turns Eddington into a nonstop melee of mindless gunfire, explosions and grotesque carnage. What was a thoughtful and savage satire devolves into rampaging slaughter, which parachutes into the film from literally out of nowhere.”
Still, like many movies that fail to capture box-office attention, Eddington finally making its way to streaming will allow fans of Aster and A24 a chance to judge it for themselves and come to their own conclusions. Eddington is available to stream on HBO Max starting November 14.
