October is usually one of the busiest months of the year for streamers. Fall is in full swing, and several platforms are eager to capitalize on the Halloween season. After a busy September that saw the premiere of the hotly anticipated The Office spinoff The Paper, Peacock is keeping the hits rolling next month.
On the film side of things, an Ethan Coen hit from this summer is making its way to the platform. As is the remake of one of DreamWorks Animation’s most loved flicks. The small screen has just as much content, whether you’re a fan of flashy reality shows or educational kids’ content. There’s even a miniseries that delves into one of the country’s most notorious serial killers. So let’s take a look at every movie and series coming to Peacock in October 2025.

‘Honey Don’t’
Streaming October 3
This dark comedy flick is the latest in the long line of Coen brothers pictures. Or half of them, in this case, as only Ethan worked on Honey Don’t. The movie follows small-town investigator Honey O’Donoghue as she investigates a series of suspicious deaths that are connected to a small, cult-like church in Bakersfield. While not officially a sequel, Coen intends Honey Don’t to be the second film in a “lesbian B-movie trilogy.” 2024’s Drive-Away Dolls was the first, and the upcoming cleverly-titled Go Beavers is planned as the third.
Margaret Qualley stars as Honey alongside Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans, Charlie Day, Lena Hall, Billy Eichner, and more. Honey Don’t is a rare Coen work that doesn’t boast a positive critical reception. Critics agreed that it had solid elements, but didn’t come together in one coherent piece. However, fans eager to catch up on this middle installment of the lesbian trilogy can stream Honey Don’t on Peacock starting October 3. Drive-Away Dolls is also currently available on the platform.

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (2025)
Streaming October 10
The original How to Train Your Dragon trilogy is one of DreamWorks Animation’s best-known franchises. It features young Hiccup Horrendous Haddock in his quest to slay a dragon to prove his worth. But he befriends one and learns that dragons and humans aren’t as adversarial as everyone thinks. The movies’ collective worldwide gross is $1.6 billion, which jumps to $2.2 billion when the live-action remake is included.
The new movie closely follows the storyline of the original film, with Mason Thames taking on the role of Hiccup. Other cast members include Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Peter Serafinowicz, and Gerard Butler, reprising his voice role from the original. A sequel, based on 2014’s How to Train Your Dragon 2, was announced just a few months after the release and is already set for a 2027 launch. While the original trilogy is not currently available on Peacock, the live-action film arrives just in time for fall on October 10.

‘O’Ahu Shores’ (season 1)
Streaming October 9
The synopsis for O’ahu Shores, following a group of young locals living in Hawaii, reads:
In Hawaii, the word “ohana” means family and for this bold, vibrant and tight-knit group of friends, they love and argue just like family. These young Hawaiian locals are stepping out of their parents’ expectations and carving their own paths while still embracing their culture. As they navigate love, face heartbreak and test friendship loyalties, this group proves life on the island has just as much shade as there is sun.
Stars of O’Ahu Shores include personalities Skye Baker, Alex Fowler, Kaui Goodness, Marcus Hee, Rachael Peterson, Kamalani Pico, Keolu Ramos, and Raven Wood. And there are plenty of relationships, rumors, love, and backstabbing to go around. All six episodes of O’ahu Shores‘ first season debut on Peacock on October 9.
‘Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue’ (Season 2)
Streaming October 9
Shifting away from glitzy beach reality shows, we’ve also got a new season of an animated kids’ offering. Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue follows a group of young rescuers at The Sanctuary nature preserve. The team of Mateo, Mei Lin, Frost, and Kawhi utilizes technology to transform into the titular “Mekbots” and travel the world, helping animals. Viewers learn valuable lessons about caring for animals and the environment along the way.
The 13-episode first season is currently streaming on Peacock. All episodes of the second season will be available to stream on the platform on October 9.
‘Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy’ (Season 1)
Streaming October 16
In a slight tonal shift from the last entry, Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy follows the case of one of America’s most prolific serial killers. John Wayne Gacy abducted, assaulted, and murdered at least 33 young men throughout the mid-1970s. This show peels back the curtain on how Gacy was able to evade detection for so long. He mastered the art of charming and acted as an innocent community member with a reputation for helping sick kids.
Devil in Disguise unpacks the stories of Gacy’s victims, the grief and trauma shared by their families, and how the system failed to prevent him from committing those horrible acts. Michael Chernus, of Severance fame, takes on the mantle of the sadistic killer clown. All eight episodes of the miniseries will be available for streaming on Peacock on October 16.

For those who’ve missed the first 18(!) seasons, this reality staple is just what it sounds like. A group of several couples agrees to be paired up by a relationship expert and get married when they first meet. The show follows their wedding, honeymoon, and the first eight weeks of their marriage. After those eight weeks, the pairs must decide whether to remain together or divorce. The upcoming 19th season will feature 10 couples taking the ultimate leap of faith.
As of the end of the 18th season, 39 of the show’s 74 matched couples chose to stay married after the eight-week trial run. A further 28 of those 39 divorced sometime after their season ended. Regular Married at First Sight personalities include Pastor Cal Robertson and sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz. Viewers can watch the next batch of hopeful singles when the first four episodes of the new season stream on Peacock on October 23. Several past seasons can also be streamed on Hulu and Disney+.
