Although James Gunn has been mostly secretive about his Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, significant progress is being made on the highly anticipated project. With Brainiac widely reported to be the main villain of the team-up film, a shortlist has surfaced online that could give us a clear idea of who will end up with the coveted DC villain role.
Nexus Point News reports that Claes Bang (Dracula), Matt Smith (House of the Dragon), and Sam Rockwell (Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die) are on the shortlist to play Brainiac in Man of Tomorrow. At this point, it does not seem a final decision has been made, and there are likely other candidates on the list. However, this is not the first time Bang has been reported as a contender for Brainiac, so there is certainly merit to the latest rumor.
More to come.
